A 'once in a blue moon' event for New Years Eve.

Just came back from lunch, having conversation with colleague, any planning for 31st December, i mention to bring my girl friend to watch the last sunset of 2009. He told me that this new year eve is Blue Moon event, Hmm.. what is blue moon event, i google it and i found the anwser that i seek. Link 1, Link 2.

Every month on average we see 1 full moon, the earth goes round the sun once every year, that means 365 days. However each time a full moon appears is about 29 or 30 days, which means in 12 months that is only on average 29.5 x 12 = 354 days, which means in a year, there is an extra 10 to 11 days. In about 3 years, there will be an extra 30 ish number of days. So u will see an extra full moon after each three years, on that 3rd year, u will have 13 full moons. That extra moon is given the name Blue Moon. Interesting right?

Last night having a great time at Go Fi6ure! It's FX Lightsaber Holder Gathering. Arrive there about 6pm+, when i walk all the way to the mall and holding my FX Lightsaber (Obi-Wan Kenobi), i notice many people look at me, heard some kids say "Wao! Lightsaber! daddy I WANT" Man.. i feel shy XD haha..

After Mike (Go Fi6ure! owner) arrive, we having some drinks at West Street Cafe, share and exchange the Art of Lightsaber. After Darth Vader appear, we all stand aside.. T_T The dark force is strong.

DEV Meet 5

This is my first time in attending DEV Meet; I really enjoyed it ;) There were about 100-150 people who attended the event. Although this may sound like a small number, yet it is quite a good start for such an event. Nearly 70% of those who attended wore their favourite costume.

Good to know Brunei has so many anime lovers. Good job guys! Keep it up!

Loot from Singapore Trip

I'm back! Having good time at Singapore =D had visit few toy shop that i haven't visit at last trip in June 2009, especially is China Square Central. Toys heaven haha.. you can find lots of 1/6 figures accessories, limited items, second hand toys at there. Too bad i miss out the sunday toy showcase.

Let's check it out, what do i get this time. BB RX-78-2 Gundam Ecopla, BB RX-78-2 Gundam G-Armor, Tenjin Hidetaka Art Works of Macross Valkyries SGD89++, Takara Tommy GT-R 35, 1:48 Lamborghini, Hasegawa Eggplane Series F4U Corsair, Haro, Mini Cosbaby AVP and Otacool book.

Get this Takara Tomy GT-R 35 from Comics Collection, had visit about 20 toy shop didn't spot any of this.

Haro and Mini Cosbaby Alien, as know this cosbaby alien is end for production. too bad i only manage to get 1 T_T The lady say if i come early a week ago, i might get whole set.
