Today i gonna show you guys the magic of Mr. Mark Setter and Mr. Mark Softer.
"Mr. Mark Setter setting solution is used on decals to help them stick better to the surface of your model.
Mr. Mark Softer setting solution is used on decals to help them conform to surface details. Basically, this solution "melts" the decals, allowing them to snuggle into every nook and cranny on your model's surface, essentially acting like paint!" -HLJ.
Well, honestly speaking i didn't see any different if you apply or not apply Mr. Mark Settle. But i did see Mr. Mark Softer make the decal "melt".
Let's begin, decal without applying Mr. Mark Softer. As you can see, there is some 'bubble' appear.
*i didn't add my blog address on these pictures, so you guys can have a clear look on it ;)

Decal with Mr. Mark Softer. *sigh.. my cacat painting skill.. all the mistake can see easily XD
One more sample.
The next day. The decal snuggle smoothly on the cranny part, nice right?
Tips from sbhboi:
Topcoat > Setter then decal then Softer > Topcoat. Won't tear or peeled after that =)

Nice! Just a question so these can only be used for dry decals? or can it be used for the normal stickers the green backing
Hi Chubbybots, I'm not so sure about these, maybe can try out hehe.. i think can't be use in dry decals. Will experimat on the normal sticker hehe.. if i'm not mistaken there is one softer for masking tap. i forgot the name XD saw it online before.
Normally using masking tap to cover the area that you don't want to be painted, after spraying, when you remove the masking tap, sometime the paint still "go in", by using this softer, is will seal the edge.
I'm not sure this Mr. Mark Softer can use it same way.. ahaha.. as know decal and Masking tap it's differenct material.
mm.... DJ in singapore, maybe we can ask him to get it for us ^^ LoL
*Shy* My tips ~
@Chubby
Dry transfer has no what-so-over effect using Mr. Mark Setter / Softer, just pure dip a while on warm water & start scratching 'em. =)
@Jojo
I think bro refers to masking sol, a blue glue-like substance to covers masking areas.
=)
How many applications of the MR.hobby mark softer did you apply when the decal is in place?
