It's amazing how a good amount of painting can make a simple FG stand out in the end. ^^

Great job!

hey, so on an earlier mod you mentioned removing excess paint. I'm planning on following your example for the Dynames I have as my first model, so how do you remove it?

Hi Tedimus,
There is few ways to removing excess paint.

1. using tooth pick, here is the sample for you to refer.

For your info, I'm using hand brush to paint my gundam. (no $$ get air brush haha) So, after you paint it, wait till the paint dry for 1, 2 hours, then use tooth pick to remove the excess paint. Do not use cutter or nail to remove, it will leave scars on your runners.

2. Masking tap/Mr. Masking Sol
This is the proper tools you need on air brush or hand painting. Using Masking Tap/Sol to cover the area.

3. Gundam remover marker
I found that this not really useful on removing marker. But no harm to try.

4. Thinner(Tamiya thinner or Mr. Hobby thinner)
It similar with the remover marker, but need to becarefull, i will effect the nearby paint. Have to extra caution when you using thinner.

Point 2 is the right tools, as my gundam not go for competition, so i didn't care much haha.. But still depend on your local hobby shop is it can get all the tools. As me at Brunei, it's really hard to get Mr. Masking Sol.

For my advise, using a cheapest gunpla for your test subject, if you are first time into painting. As me, i'm still a beginner too haha.. that's why i choose FG for my test subject hehe..

Hope that's help ;)
